This piece was was sourced ethically from female weaving cooperatives in Morocco and is aged to perfection.  Berber rugs are touchstones, telling the story of the place and artisan that wove them.  They hold a rich mythology, a living relationship and ancient technology ushering you to drop into a state of remembering.  These are heirloom pieces, encapsulating sensory positive design to create a sanctuary in your home. Ritual is built into the design, encouraging simple moments of connection. 

Care: Vacuum regularly to remove dirt and excess fuzz that may accumulate on the rugs surface. We recommend a stationary soft brush edge that will gently massage the pile. Consider flipping the rug over and vacuuming the underside of the rug as well.  Properly cushion and secure your rug with a gripper pad.  Get your rugs professionally cleaned at regular intervals, once or twice a year.  In-between, do as the berbers do.  The traditional Moroccan technique– hanging your rug to bake in the sun for a few hours, shaking out the dust and dirt before bringing it back into your home. This is the best method for consistent maintenance of your rug.
