Care information

First Burn Instructions
For best results, use a cigarette lighter and tilt the candle slightly on its side to light the wick.

If the flame extinguishes, wait for the wick to cool, gently break off any excess wood, and relight. Our wicks aren’t treated with accelerants, so it might take a couple of tries to fully ignite.

Once the wick is burning, let the candle burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the glass. This can take 1-3 hours depending on the size of your candle. This step ensures an even burn for future use. After the wax has pooled, blow out the candle.

Between Burns
After the wax cools, pinch off any burnt wood from the wick using wick trimmers or your fingers. Do this after every burn to keep your candle burning beautifully.

Safety Reminders
Always burn your candle in sight and away from pets, children, and flammable items.

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
